When we fill our mind with the promises of God, God fills our lives with what we need. His promises are seeds of faith, hope, and love. They are bridges that take us from the bondage of our old life to the freedom of our new life in Christ. They transport us from despair to hope.
2 Peter 1:3-4 NLT
“Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness. As a result of this, he has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.”
The promises empower us to overcome the doubts and lies that deteriorate our confidence. Our eyes are opened to the power and blessings in Christ. New ways to respond to life’s challenges and heartbreaks are revealed. God’s promises are his guide to our spiritual growth and vitality. God ALWAYS fulfills what He promises.
